Objective Hypothesis Statement

I feel that in this study the Eurasian Collared Doves (Streptopelia decaocto) will out-compete the Mourning Doves (Zenaida macroura) for food resources.  I believe that the Collared Doves will be bale to use their size advantage to intimidate the smaller Mourning Doves preventing them from using food resources and even go as far as physically forcing the Mourning Doves away from food resources.

Null Hypothesis

There will be no competition for food resources between these two species of birds, the Eurasian Collared Dove (Streptopelia decaocto) and the Mourning Dove (Zenaida macroura).
